New on BookStack: Featured Books, Upcoming Releases, and ARCs.
Take a look at some newly featured books, releases, and more!
Note: Emails are truncated, please read here. If you enjoy reading our content, consider subscribing or becoming a monthly-tiered member today. Thanks for reading!
New books come out all the time, and it can be difficult to bring attention to them. Which is why New on BookStack exists. It’s a weekly newsletter bringing to you newly featured books on our directory, upcoming releases you should know about, and ARC opportunities currently ongoing.
And if you’d like to get your book included in one of these segments, consider joining our Discord — where every month I post Indie Release Radar threads. We also have the ARCs opportunities channel, as well as weekly community events, a space for connecting with other writers and readers, and much, much more. Now without further ado, let’s dive in.
Newly Featured
The books below are from our sponsors and volunteers. If you’d like to see your own book(s) featured, you can get listed by upgrading your subscription, or commissioning a 30-day listing.
Where the Veil Thins by Jasmine Sears: “In a fantasy version of the late 1800s, a boy helps souls get a second chance at life…”
Sovereign Oathbound by Author Caelia Bevanor: Chosen as a representative of Land, Vonetta is torn from the only life she knew. Discover her story by buying Sovereign Oathbound today.
Inside the Sun and Moon by Hazel: A short collection of poems discussing themes of loneliness, sadness, and love.
Note: Some of these books were newly featured as a benefit of our Volunteering system. If you’d like to help BookStack flourish, and get your own book featured in return, apply today. The linked application includes some additional details about what we need help with.
Releasing Soon
If you have a book coming out soon, get it listed in our directory (it’s free), and it may be included in a future release radar.
Kiss of Contagion by A.R. Lines: A strange infection is unraveling the world one person at a time, and Kali Ashwin — whose spent all of her life playing it safe — finds herself finally thrust in the middle of it, but at what cost? Intrigued? It’s available now.
Two Hunks and a Trunk by G.G. Rosethorn: A dark romance where moving day becomes a fantasy of a life-time. Also available now.
1275 Wounds Healed by Phoenix Hope Dawn: A new poetry collection coming out tomorrow. Subscribe or follow Phoenix for updates.
Artist Point by Julie Milo: “a sweet (no spice), strangers-to-friends-to-lovers romance set against the backdrop of Yellowstone National Park.” Available August 4th.
Still, the Song Remains by Kristen Tiu: Born into legacy, heir to a powerful manufactoring company, but haunted by the disappearance of Calla Ladrón six years ago, until now. Rekindle this relationship on August 10th.
ARC Opportunities
If you’re looking for ARC readers for your own book, get it listed on our directory for free <3
Invisible by Sonya J. Kaye: A cozy romantasy with feral real-world magic, and a fated slow-burn love that deals with topics like loss and grief, amid secrets that may change everything. Sign-ups end on August 3rd.
Read My Lips by Jem Martin: A contemporary LGBTQ+ romance novel where when potential scandals occur, the worst, but strangely most natural idea, is to fake it out, even if it forces you out of the background. Sign-ups end on August 10th.
Ideal Lost by J.T. Wong: A queer crime thriller with Dual POVs and a slow burn romance that takes things deep into the underbelly of L.A’s criminal world. Sign-ups end on August 16th.
The Cozy Cauldron Cab Co. by Nathan C. Ashford: A cozy fantasy cottagecore slice-of-life about finding your purpose as a witch who cannot fly — perhaps through serving others. Sign-ups end on August 4th.
The Ache That Stayed by Velrith Rose: While technically a standalone, this is book two of the Damage & Devotion series. The author will help to make book one accessible if needed, sign-ups end tomorrow.
Thanks everyone for reading through this post, and please let me know if you picked up any of these fantastic reads! Buh-bye for now!

Thank you, Hazel 💜
