Some major changes are happening.
Hey everyone! Going into next month, there’s going to be some changes happening centered around our content. You may have already filled out our Indie Release Radar & ARCs Guild feedback form, however that’s not the only thing on today’s docket. We’ll get to both soon, but before we do…
Thank you so much for being here and supporting my content. You enable me to be able to help out so many others in the community, and I don’t think I can express my appreciation enough. But you all are the crux of BookStack, and none of this has ever been possible without you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I love each and every one of you <3
But okay, whatever— gratitudes aside, haha. (I’m just kidding, I don’t know how to segue). Let’s go through what’s happening with BookStack, okay?
Indie Release Radar and ARCs Guild Posts Are Being Merged.
Yup, that’s our big headliner right there. Recently I sent out a feedback form to get your thoughts on some changes I want to implement to these posts. The survey got a total of 18 responses, with an absolutely positive response towards the changes I’m planning on making. But… how exactly are these posts going to look?
Well, starting next month, these posts will contain the following sections:
Author Events & News.
Featured Books (From our Directory).
Indie Release Radar
ARCs Guild.
Those aren’t the final names for these sections yet, so they mi
ght be tweaked slightly. You might be wondering though, if the Indie Release Radar and ARCs Guild Posts are being merged, what exactly is the new name going to be for these posts?
Since we only had 18 responses in our survey, it’s still being decided. Which means you have an opportunity right now to pick the new name. For those who have already voted in our survey, you do not need to vote again.
Story Time Prompts Are Switching Publications.
Over the past week or so, I’ve been thinking about my other blog, Hazel Allen Writes. It’s where I post most of my poetry and stories, but… it’s reach and engagement has been sitting on a plateau.
I would really like to revitalize the blog, and get it to start growing again. Especially as I amp myself up to release a new serial in a few months. So, one of the best solutions I’ve come up with is to move our writing prompts over there.

BookStack Bookmarks Are Dropping Soon!
Our last headline here is more of a reminder. We currently have bookmarks up for preorder at our ko-fi! While we try to keep so much of what we do— including the directory— free, we couldn’t do it without your help.
