Your Weekly BookStack Round-Up - 11.2.2025
A weekly glance at recent posts, featured books, and some blog updates.
Hello, and welcome to our weekly round-up newsletter. Here you can expect a refresher on recent posts, a few book feature mentions, and general updates for BookStack and our directory.
Before we dive in though, want to help us decide and improve monthly subscriber benefits? Then hit that free trial button below, and you’ll get three months on us! But hurry, the offer ends on Nov. 8th.
While it’s free to get your books listed to our directory, we also offer featured listings which offers a few extra benefits, like being featured here. Let’s take a quick look at a few!
Moon by
: “Moon is a lyrical, meditative short story by multidisciplinary artist and writer Rachel Tribble. Winner of our monthly Flash Fiction competition, this powerful micro booklet invites you into a quiet, otherworldly moment—where the sky glows, the sea listens, and time seems to hold its breath.”The Starlight Princess by Amanda Cirilli: Ten years after her parents murder and being forced in hiding, a stranger steps in Myalis Lucerna’s path, shattering her life in the shadows. With her true identity being revealed, a fire of prophecy begins to burn, signaling the birth of the Starlight Princess.
The Equipment Manager by Mollea Foust: Love, or just a fling? This is the question both Hollea and Travis must answer as they explore the spark igniting between them. But recovering from the past is difficult, and nothing ever turns out the way anyone can expect…
Monthly Supporter Benefits: Starting now, there will be some extra benefits for our Monthly/Annual subscribers. I’ve implemented these with idea of adding to the over all experience. What this means is I do not plan to take anything away that I already offer for free. Here’s what’s new:
Early Access & Bonus Polls: Some posts, like our essays and prompts, will be up two days early for monthly subscribers. And writing prompts will now have a bonus poll for extra interactivity in deciding the fate of the next prompt.
Other benefits to come in the future. I know what I offer isn’t a lot right now, but you can help us improve and add more in the future by trying our free trial. Okay, that’s the last time I’ll remind you about it, but here’s that button again.
Premium Spotlights: These are personalized versions of our Author Spotlights which gets you exclusive benefits, like tailoring the spotlight to your needs, skipping our spotlight line, and having it featured on our website and content directory for 1 month. And you can commission these ahead of time (must be done 30 days in advance) to line it up with an event. Interested? I’m offering them for $10 until the end of January.
And that’s a wrap on this week’s round-up. Next time there shouldn’t be so much in the Updates section, but yeah. I hope you all like the way this is structured. Though, if I have to be honest, I’m not sure if the 2 - 3 emails a week thing will stick.
Posts seem to have a significant drop in reach when emails don’t get sent out. And you can take
’s review of This Cursed House for example. At the time I’m posting this, it only has just over 20 views, despite being up for a few days now.Anyway, I’ll see you all in next week’s round-up! Buh-bye now.
