Update: Adjustments to our Posting Calendar for December.

Some updates for our content calendar.

Hi everyone!

We’re almost halfway through the month, which means we’re getting closer to more holidays. I hope you all are well, and having a fun and safe winter season! In fact, let me know down in the comments below. I’d love to hear from you.

Moving on, let’s address the main thing in this update. I’m going to be adjusting the content calendar for December— and hence, officializing my unofficial holiday break a little more. Here’s what changing.

• Cancelled:

  • ARCs Guild Post (Originally set for Dec. 14th).

  • Story Time Prompt (Was supposed to come out yesterday).

  • Guest Posts for the remainder of the month.

• Adjusted:

  • Spotlights: This month I’d planned to do one weekly, but this is looking to remain a bi-weekly post for now.

That’s the important stuff, really. As for the matter of this break… During the holidays I tend to face more burnout than usual. I find the holidays over all to be really stressful, and despite my efforts to ease that stress— I haven’t been able to stop the burnout from coming through.

What does this mean? Well, my planned return to a regular content schedule is Jan. 1st. However, if I need to, I might take a few weeks into the New Year to get up to par. Plus, I’ll be having Winter term classes starting around then, too. So I really need to be ready for that.

For now, I’ll be directing most of my energy I have to finish up the anniversary content for Inside the Sun and Moon, which I’ll be posting on Hazel Allen Writes. So, I’m not like entirely disappearing. Just stepping back a little bit for hopefully just a few weeks.
