Announcing the BookStack Pride Giveaway Winners!
Finally announcing the winners from the Pride Giveaway I hosted over a month ago.
Back in June there were a lot of Pride stuff going on, and I wanted to be a part of it. So to celebrate the community, I made several posts focused on queer indie authors, and then hosted this giveaway.
Unfortunately I ended up getting burnout, so I never got around to announcing the winners. But after checking in with all the involved authors, and making sure I’d have money for my prize contributions, we’re finally here.
Thanks for baring with me through everything. I love doing giveaways and hate to leave you hanging. Stuff like this is supposed to be fun, but due to my burnout and general lack of good communication surrounding it, I imagine the mood was dampened.
There’s no excuses for what happened, but I wanted to explain for those who may have missed. I have a tendency of diving deeply and enthusiastically into new projects and events, and then falling into dysfunction and burnout by the end. I’m still figuring out and working on an ADHD diagnosis, but regardless, I’m so sorry.
But you’re not here for long-drawn out apologies, so let’s jump into the main focus of this post: announcing the winners!
Real quickly, if you get chosen as a winner (done by RNG), I’ll reach out to you via email to let you know. You may also receive a tag here on this post, which will also serve as a notification. You’ll have 24 hours to confirm you still want the prize, so if you don’t answer or decline, a new winner will be picked.
However, the winner chosen for the gift-card prize will have it sent straight to their email.
One last note, physical prizes will be sent directly over from the authors to the winners. So I will be reaching out for your contact and shipping info. This will only be shared with the Author correlating to your prize, and is otherwise kept confidential. Thank you for your understanding!
